Two daredevils caught in shock footage jumping across the rooftops of Gold Coast apartment buildings have been blasted by Queensland’s Police Minister, labelling the pair “clowns”. Man charged over trespassing on major Australian airport

A man who was found on the tarmac of Perth airport has been charged with trespass. The 33-year-old man from the West Australian city was intercepted by airline staff on Tuesday night. He had been in bushland surrounding the airport, before allegedly entering the airport grounds and reaching the tarmac. Perth airport is located 17km east of the city centre. Bondi Junction stabbing: Inquest hears from counter-terrorism cop

A special operations paramedic has revealed there were issues finding a specialist team to respond to the Bondi Junction attack that killed six people. Joel Cauchi, 40, killed six people and injured 10 during a stabbing rampage at the Westfield Bondi Junction shopping centre in Sydney’s east on April 13, 2024. Dawn Singleton, Yixuan Cheng, Faraz Ahmed Tahir, Ashlee Good, Jade Young and Pikria Darchia were all killed in the attack. Aussie bank forecasting four more rate cuts after inflation hits RBA target

Australia’s Bendigo Bank is predicting four more rate cuts, including one this month, after the latest Reserve Bank’s figures, released yesterday, revealed underlying inflation has moved into its target range. Bendigo Bank’s chief economist David Robertson said he now expected the central bank to shift its “laser sharp focus on inflation” to other areas of the economy. “The RBA has been dealing with global inflation shock for three years but its concerns are quickly moving from price stability and inflation to protecting growth and jobs,” Robertson said. Trouble anticipated as NBN Co’s new high speeds come online
