Disgraced veteran Ben Roberts-Smith will return to the federal court this week as he seeks a defamation retrial bid after “fresh evidence” surfaced last month. CCTV footage shows an armed burglar taking thousands of dollars worth of Pokemon cards from a Melbourne store in the latest of a spate of thefts targeting the lucrative trading cards. Victoria is seeing its worst measles outbreak in a decade, as the global outbreak continues to penetrate Australian borders. A trial for a man who allegedly stabbed his partner 13 times inside their Sydney unit more than two years ago is expected to kick off next week after lengthy delays in court. Anthony “Tony” Eriksen, 63, was arrested after his partner Lisa Fenwick was found stabbed to death inside their Mascot apartment on April 9 in 2023.
