Police are investigating a jogger who was stabbed while running
A young man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed while jogging in Melbourne’s north following an Anzac Day Dawn Service. The 24-year old man went for a jog on Anzac Day before allegedly being ambushed by strangers, where he was struck in the abdomen, neck and chin. Police are now hunting for an unknown offender following the stabbing which occurred just before 8am on Friday. Virginia Giuffre, who accused Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein of sexual abuse, has died by suicide. Her family informed NBC News of her death in a statement. Woman dies after falling at Mapleton Falls, Sunshine Coast
A woman has died after falling 80 metres to her death in a Queensland national park. Emergency services were called about 3.30pm on Saturday to Mapleton Falls in the Sunshine Coast after reports someone had fallen. A Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) spokesperson said a 36-year-old woman was treated for significant life-threatening injuries. However Queensland Police later said she could not be revived. Another woman, aged 18, also suffered minor injuries and was taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition. A report will be prepared for the coroner. More to come.
