Kids hoodie pulled from shelves over fire hazard fears
A popular children’s onesie has been recalled from Spotlight over a potential fire hazard.
The Easter Rabbit Hoodie sold at Spotlight has been recalled by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission because the item does not have the required fire hazard label.
A lack of a fire hazard label creates a risk of serious burns or injuries if exposed to a heat or flame source.
Hoodies labelled as grey, white and size 6-8 years are part of the affected batch.
The product was sold in Spotlight stores online and in person in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia between February 8 and April 14, 2025.
Anyone who purchased the item should keep the product out of reach of children and return the item to any Spotlight store for a refund.
