Prince Louis beams in new birthday portrait

Prince Louis has marked his seventh birthday on April 23 with an adorable new portrait released by Kensington Palace.

The young royal is seen beaming broadly in the shot, taken by photographer Josh Shinner, showing his missing two front teeth.

Little Louis is seen wearing a khaki jumper over a white check shirt, paired with blue jeans, and looking very grown up.

This marks only the second time Prince William and Kate have released a professional photo for Prince Louis’s birthday.

The other occasion was in 2023, when they chose a shot by Millie Pilkington, featuring Louis’ mum pushing him around their Windsor backyard in a wheelbarrow.

Prince Louis is understood to be celebrating his birthday at home with his older siblings Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine, as they enjoy their last day of school holidays.
